We opted to not get this type of monitor heirnag the little guy was enough we didn’t need to watch him all the time (it would have just made us paranoid and we would have gotten less sleep than we did.)

The other valid complaints often made in the reviews is that the item only worked for a short while before breaking in some way, either video or audio and also the very poor customer service received regarding repairs, replacements or assistance in another way. I experienced problems with the touchscreen functions not working which defeated the whole point of paying so much for this “advanced” monitor and did not receive any help with repair or replacement when I contacted Summer Infant’s customer service.
